At Hurricane Bay Kennels we believe in finding the absolute BEST breeding partners for our beautiful females. Distance and money ( i.e. stud fee ) don't influence our decisions. While we do believe there is a correct way to linebreed and sometimes an imbreeding is justified, most of the time breeders are just being cheap and small-minded. We don't do cheap or lazy breedings on our yard. We look for the male that compliments our female most and that sometimes means going outside our kennel. Other kennels may take the easy way out but that's not our style. You can rest assured that HBK scours the country looking only for the best dogs to improve our bloodline. The saying 'You get what you pay for' sums it up best. HBK is willing to pay for the premier producers and elite foundation dogs...just as we are willing to go from Florida to California and Alabama to Pennsylvania to perfect the HBK style.
